How to donate
If you have any good quality furniture or electrical goods to donate please call the scheme on 01438 362900, or email info@stevenagefrs.org.uk.
We cannot always respond to calls immediately so please leave a message.
When disscussing the item, we will ask you to check it for compliance with current fire safety legislation, (see labels below).
This year your donations have allowed us to recycle over 54 tonnes of furniture in support of nearly 4000 Stevenage residents.

Current fire safety legislation labels
All Furnishings that include upholstery must conform to the appropriate 'Fire Safety' regulations in order for us to be able to pass it on. Therefore, any furniture of this type must have the necessary fire safety labels attached and must state that the covers and fillings are both cigarette and match-resistant.
