About Us

 

We collect donated items of suitable furniture and large electrical items in Stevenage and the surrounding villages which are re-distributed  via a handling charge to members of the local community who are on a proven low income, benefits or are in conditions of need.

 

To register with the Scheme you will need to bring up to date proof of benefit/s and/or low income and proof of address. Please note that we need to update your registration every six months unless you are receiving a disability benefit or pension.

 

Members of the General Public can purchase from the Scheme but pay a slightly higher handling charge plus a small charge for bulky deliveries or if outside Stevenage.

 

By encouraging re-use your donations help make a positive impact on your community. In the last year your donations have saved  66 tonnes of good quality items from going into landfill, re-distributed 2000 items and supported  over 5000 individuals.
